With the objective to create new plans for 2012, last weekend MAIS UM volunteers organised leaders of the Community of Coroado to hold another important planning workshop!
Based on the community challenges and with the facilitation of MAIS UM, solutions for some of the key challenges of Coroado were worked up in a participatory way and plans for implementation were already drafted.
The participants - the main social leaders of the community and the Community Administrative Leader (elected by the residents) - discussed their dreams and projects, the construction of the new Community Centre where now is the administrative headquarters and together committed to a new agenda, actions and responsibilities among themselves.
MAIS UM Volunteers were also present and supported the entire process from the facilitation and structuring of the workshop to the development of the joint agenda.
2012 seems exciting for Coroado! We will post here the results of their planning and the development of their activities. Stay tuned!
